Mother's Day Bouquet Workshop — Event Recap
This May, CreativPulse came alive with paint, petals, and plenty of proud smiles as families joined us for our Mother's Day art workshop, themed 盛放 — Full Bloom.
Over the session, children and their grown-ups worked together to create handcrafted paper bouquets from scratch. Little hands sponge-painted textured backgrounds in blues, yellows, and pinks, cut and curled paper petals into lilies and orchids, and assembled everything into keepsake bouquets wrapped in vintage newsprint — finished with hand-drawn ribbons and heartfelt notes.
True to the CreativPulse approach, learning was woven throughout. Children picked up Mandarin vocabulary naturally as they created — 蝴蝶 (butterfly), 花朵 (flower), 感恩 (thankful) — connecting language to something they could see, touch, and gift.
The best moment came at the end: each child presenting their bouquet to mum. No store-bought flowers required — just something made entirely by their own hands.
